Florent Avella is the Managing Director and Founder of Silver Oaks Group of Companies.  Florent brings with him a wealth of experience from across the globe.  He carries a degree in Hospitality Management, Certification in Accounting & Finance, US GAAP, as well as Real Estate & Hotel Investment Certification from Cornell University in NY.  Florent’s favorite quote: “Price is what you pay, Value is what you get”.

Teresita is the Director of Bridgepoint Services, the strategic planning and capacity-building arm of the Silver Oaks Group. With over eight years of experience in the organization, she brings a deep understanding of operations, project leadership, and organizational development.

She is known as a “Jack of all Trades,” having mastered a wide range of roles and responsibilities within the Group over the years. Her versatility and attention to detail have made her an invaluable asset across teams.

In addition to her administrative and operational strengths, Teresita has developed extensive expertise in conducting market studies, preparing business plans, performing investment analysis, and leading capacity-building initiatives for NGOs, startups, and private sector clients.

A proud female entrepreneur, she has also owned and managed D’Vine Cravings — an independently run cevicheria — since 2018.

Sara is an accomplished accountant with over 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance field. She currently leads Silver Oaks Management Services Ltd., the execution arm of the Silver Oaks Group specializing in day-to-day management and fiduciary administration.

Her career includes roles at leading organizations such as Ka’ana Resort, the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), and the Pedro R. Lizarraga Group of Companies. She brings deep expertise in financial reporting, compliance oversight, audit coordination, and internal control systems. Her skill set also includes property management operations, grant and fund administration, and the development of efficient financial processes.

Sara is well-versed in tax preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, making her a strategic leader in both operational and financial functions.

Lillian is a seasoned Human Resources professional with eight years of experience in the field. She currently serves as the Director of Silver Oaks Institute, the non-profit training and development arm of the Silver Oaks Group.

Her career began shortly after earning her associate degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Over the years, she has built deep expertise in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. Lillian’s work has consistently demonstrated strong leadership in managing people-centered initiatives and implementing HR systems that promote both efficiency and inclusion.

As Director, Lillian applies her strategic HR acumen to lead programs in leadership and team development, training and professional growth and gender equity integration. Her ability to align talent development with institutional goals enables her to support both individual advancement and organizational transformation.
